Lisbon will be the 23rd European base of EasyJet , the low-cost British bitter rival Ryanair, starting from mid-April 2012 . The news we like because with the new base comes a new route for Italy.
Venice, will be linked with the Portuguese capital from April 19 next year, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Good news, since there are so many direct flights from Italy to Lisbon. The other links are in fact operated by TAP Portugal (Rome, Milan and Bologna) and the same Easy (Milan and Rome) .
